A bit about Reverend D:
Coming from France and from the Techno scene (no link between), Reverend D. is spreading the good funky breaks word in Belgium from the late 2008 ; At the same time, he joined the Radio Vibration crew (107.2 FM in Brussels & www.vibration.fm) as a producer, voice and DJ.
24 hours a day are not enough with his works as DJ, columnist, program planner and head of the weekly turntablist radio show « Tales From The Crate » alongside F.abot & Odilon, two remarkable members of Pipolass and Beat 4 Battle families (check it on www.myspace.com/talesfromthecrateofficial).
The Reverend D. isn't one of these amazing records jugglers, however, he's proud to entertain the Pagans with finest and breaks & funk selections that you hear these times ...
2tall - Back In The Day - Scratch Beat Collection
On one of the recent chats during a Skratch Stream (nozlrecordings.com) it came up that Om Unit/2tall would be uploading a bunch of his old scratch beats. I came across the link on the DV Forums (digitalvertigo.co.uk) where 2tall posted the link to the beats. Some of these are already in the tablist.net loop archive. I had to pass it on.
The Foundation: DMC DJ Exhibition @ Kennedy Center
Here is an hour video from the Mellennium Stage at the Kennedy Center. The video features Dj I-Dee & Dj Rockin' Rob. I was tipped to this video by Christie Z-Pabon's Tools of War email list. Check the links below for the video & to check out the email list.
